10 things you can do to keep your home in
top-shape during September

• Paint exterior.  Or, touch-up body & trim as needed to help preserve.
  
  
• Check gutters, & fill low spots around foundation.  HEAVY RAINS can still happen!
  
  
• Inspect fireplace and chimney to prepare for winter use.
   
• Clean dryer vent and compartments.  Prevent a dryer fire. 
   
• Repair caulking at base of tub and shower.
  
  
• Clean any mildew and mold from shower.  Re-grout as needed.
  
  
• Remove weeds.  Trim plants away from house and foundation.
  
  
• Clean patio door tracks and lubricate roller guides.
  
  
• Test electric Ground Fault Interrupters (GFCI) inside and out.
  
  
• Inspect windows, rods, sashes.  Lubricate and clean tracks. Do twice/year, and prolong for a lifetime.
   
• Bonus:  Time to turn your mattress (every 30 days if a king.  2 months otherwise).
