'Average home prices' rose again last month to $414,653. This is the 4th consecutive month of gains. Average condo prices also rose to $261,675, but the prices haven't been quite as robust compared to single family homes.
Inventory also increased by a little more than 12%. This isn't a stellar improvement, considering this increase is fully absorbed by anxious buyers. To put this in better perspective, we had at least 1500 more units for sale this time a year ago. Each year of the last few, we've been starved for inventory compared to our level of demand.

P.S. New home builders continue to absorb the shortages around Metro Denver. There are still many opportunities to purchase a new home and have it completed by the end of the year. If you've always wanted a new home, now's as good a time as any.
