As we enter the month of February, we're seeing interest rates dip to levels not seen in a few years. This news is really exciting and has kick-started the Spring housing market early. What's behind these ultra low rates are multiple forces that combine to drive-up bond prices, and in turn, keep interest rates falling.

Along with the dip in interest rates comes an easing of mortgage insurance premiums by the FHA, and the lowering of down payment requirements by Fannie Mae. All this is helping to make home buying more affordable for many.

So where do interest rates go from here? Its hard to anticipate, but its also unlikely they'll drop any further. Last year interest rates we're predicted to rise in 2015, and that could still happen. So, take advantage while you can, because good things don't last forever.
