ELECTRONICS - tax refund checks peak in April.  Electronic games and devices of every kind will be hugely discounted to clear the shelves for the new summer merchandise. 

VACUUMS - old models are out, and the new models are rolling in.  Vacuum sellers are removing last year's models in a hurry.  Its their big annual clearance going all April.

FURNACES - furnace and air conditioning companies are often at a lull this time of the year.  Not to cold or too hot.  With it now being out of season for furnace installations, you can cut a sweet deal before these companies get busy again.

FOOTWARE - the gyms are clearing out as people are longing to get outside with the warming weather.  There are too many other things to be doing than in front of an elliptical machine.  Big sales can be had on all kinds of footware this April, as shoe retailers know they're losing your interest and attention. 

SNOWBLOWERS - rows of snowblowers sit at all the big box stores just waiting for you to steal one (figuratively speaking).  Get your best deal in April, when the stores are making lots of room for spring and summer flowers/plants, and while the rows of snowblowers still catch your eye. 

USED CARS - used car dealers understand that many tax refund checks will go a long way towards buying that next car, or kid car.  If the tax rebate alone won't buy that car though, at least it'll make a dent in the taxes and licenses.  Watch for all sorts of used car sales pitches during April as the car sellers try to move their winter inventory.

INDOOR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT - as weather improves, there's less interest in doing much of anything indoors.  Retailers really push to get this stuff out their doors, before you lose complete interest.  Look for huge clearance sales on your favorite bike or treadmill during the month of April.
