'Summer Valley Ranch'

Summer Valley Ranch is an affordable community located in Southeast Aurora. The neighborhood has a very strong family orientation. Most of the surrounding properties are single family homes. Summer Valley is located within the prestigious Cherry Creek School District. Many of the homeowners commute Downtown, or to the Denver Tech Center.  Major thoroughfares that serve the area are E-470, Parker Road, 1-225, Arapahoe Road, and Tower Road.

Schools

The Cherry Creek School District serves all of Summer Valley Ranch.  Elementary schools are either Meadow Point, Summit, or Cimarron.  Middle schools are Horizon or Falcon Creek.  And, Senior High Schools are Smoky Hill and Grandview.

Neighborhood Information & Shopping

Summer Valley is served by the Quincy Place and Summer Valley Centers on the corners of Quincy and Buckley.  Target, Lowes, King Soopers and Safeway are the major tenants for all your shopping and grocery needs.  Walmart also has a community grocery store just up the street at the intersection of Smoky Hill & Buckley.  Another nearby shopping complex is just a mile away at Seven Hills.  Southlands is a regional outdoor shopping district less than 10 minutes away.  Arapahoe Crossing is also just within minutes. 

Aurora City Center

The City of Aurora municipal complex, museums, main library, and courts are all located approximately 15 minutes to the north of Summer Valley Ranch, near the intersection of Alameda Avenue and Chambers, near the Aurora Mall Town Center.

Recreation

Convenient neighborhood recreation is abundant. The largest parks in the area are Mission Viejo Park, Hampden Run Park, & Cherry Creek State Park. Swimming is just a hop, skip, and jump away at either Aqua Vista Pool, Pheasant Run, or Meadow Hills.  The two closest golf courses are the heavily-treed Meadow Hills, Saddle Rock Golf Club, and JFK.  Other multi-purpose recreation is found just minutes away at Aurora Reservoir and Cherry Creek State Park.  If you enjoy fishing, you'll find some of the best in the city just across the street at Quincy Reservoir. There are some wonderful bike paths that start at either Mission Viejo Park or Cherry Creek State Park, and will take you either to Cherry Creek or the Highline Canal, and from there all around the Denver Metro Area.

Transportation

The Regional Transportation District (RTD), serves Aurora & the entire Denver Metro area with bus and light rail service throughout the day.  Park n' Ride facilities are located at Nine-Mile Station, and the juncture f Parker Road & 1-225.  You can lookup the RTD schedules here, or call 303-299-6000.

Hospitals

Children's Hospital, The VA Medical Center, Aurora Regional, and Aurora Presbyterian Hospitals are all located just off of I-225, between Mississippi and 17th Avenues. Centennial Healthcare Plaza is within 15 minutes, located at Arapahoe Road and Jordan.  Parker Adventist and Sky Ridge regional hospitals are within 15-20 minutes via the E-470 toll road.

Airport Access

Denver International Airport is approximately 25 minutes north of Southeast Aurora, and there are multiple thoroughfares to get you there fast, like E-470, I-225, and Airport Blvd.
