About Elizabeth & It's Neighborhoods

Elizabeth has been in existence as a small ranch and farm community since the late 1890’s. The Town of Elizabeth is approximately 40 miles southeast of Denver, and adjacent to Parker.  Elizabeth is situated in groves of Ponderosa Pines, and sits at a slightly higher elevation than Denver, at 6,530 ft.

Because of its abundance of pine trees, Elizabeth has been recognized as Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation. The majority of Elizabeth's residents live in a country or rural setting, and most home sites are on acreage.

As transportation improvements reached well into Denver’s suburbs, Elizabeth actually became a popular 'country suburb' to the Denver metropolitan area. During the last couple of decades, the territory surrounding the Town of Elizabeth has experienced significant development and new home construction.

Homeowners seeking close-in acreage and equestrian home sites, found Elizabeth to be a reasonable opportunity to having both their dream homes, and their jobs in the city. If you are interested in living in Elizabeth, take a look at the many excellent homes in Elizabeth, below.
