Homes in Summer Lake (aka Quincy Lake) were built in the early 1980's through mid-1990's. The Summer Lake neighborhood is situated on the east side of Quincy Reservoir. It has 3 different series of homes, the more expensive of which are on the west (Waters Edge) and along Quincy Reservoir to the south. Summer Lake is a well maintained community of about 200 houses. Neighboring communities are Fox Run, Carriage Place, and Copperleaf.
Summer Lake is bounded by Quincy Avenue to the north and Reservoir Road on the east. It's close to Cherry Creek State Park, and is located within the highly acclaimed Cherry Creek School District.
