November 2011 Mortgage Interest Rates

Mortgage interest rates took a nosedive this week in response to the financial troubles shaking the global economy.  This all translates into jitters on the stock market, and when stocks go down, rates usually fall with them.

On a cautionary note, if you are financing a home right now, my best advice is to "lock-in" these low mortgage interest rates, rather than gamble that they'll head lower as you get closer to your closing date. 

Better to be safe, than sorry!
